Our School Day
Playing, learning, fun.
Summer days begin with outdoor play. In the hot summer months the best time to play outside is first thing in the morning.
In winter we adjust our school day accordingly.
Wednesday is Messy Play Day!
On Wednesdays we break out the mud, water, gloop, and all things sensory and messy for our little ones to mess and muck to their hearts content.
We have created an Outdoor Napping Area where the children can rest in the shade and fresh air rather than napping indoors. Should the weather disrupt this the children will nap indoors that day. Studies show that outdoor napping creates better sleep and lowers the recirculation of germs.
Sensory play, creative activities, free painting, messy play, gross motor activities, baking, music and singing are all part of our weekly schedule.
